Sports Activities & Annual Sports Festival

Saraswati Bhuvan Prashala, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar places strong emphasis on physical fitness and sportsmanship alongside academics. One of the key highlights of the school calendar is the annual Sports Festival, organised to promote teamwork, discipline and competitive spirit among students. The 12th edition of the Sports Festival was successfully held on 19–20 December 2025 at the school’s playground in Aurangpura, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Athletics Events

Students compete in a range of track events including 200m and 400m races across different age groups, showcasing speed, stamina and determination.

Team Games

Popular team sports such as Volleyball, Kho-Kho and Kabaddi were held, encouraging teamwork, coordination and strategic play among players.

Wide Participation

The festival saw participation from schools across regions including Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Bidkin, Balanagar and more, with nearly 1200 athletes, officials and volunteers involved.

Special Guests & Inauguration

The event was inaugurated by international athletes including fencing champion Tushar Aher and aerobics gymnast Arya Shah, inspiring students to pursue excellence in sports.

Kho-Kho – U14 Boys: 1st – SBP Sambhajinagar

Volleyball – U14 Boys: 1st – SBP Vadodabazar
Volleyball – U14 Girls: 1st – SBP Vadodabazar
Athletics – U14 200m: Boys – Samarth Varkhade, Girls – Duhita Shinde
Athletics – U17 200m: Boys – Kartik Kadam, Girls – Kajal Mahajan

These results reflect the outstanding performance of athletes and the competitive spirit fostered through school sports.

The School Committee ensured excellent arrangements for food and accommodation, and winners received trophies, medals and certificates. The festival celebrated not only athletic achievement but also camaraderie, resilience and healthy competition.
